I have reviewed several portable power stations recently, which all share one common feature. They all can be charged through solar power. One problem that solar panels have is that they are usually quite large and bulky, usually needing to be installed on a roof or special mounts.

Technology has advanced enough that foldable portable solar panels are perfect companions to these power stations.

One such panel is the Bluetti PV200.

What is it?

The PV200 is a folding 200 watt solar panel that is highly portable and folds flat enough to store it almost anywhere. Since it is a Bluetti product it is designed with their power stations in mind but because these solar panels have MC-4 connectors, they can be used to charge any power station as long as it can handle a 200 Watt input.

What you get in the box

The PV200 is a self contained unit so all you’re getting in the box is the foldable panel itself, user manual, and warranty card.

First Impressions

The PV200 is not a small panel. It is over seven feet long when unfolded, but this is necessary for the 200-watt output. The panel itself is kept from unfolding by some buckles, a nice feature that keeps the panel from accidentally unfolding.
